Purpose

The purpose of this site is to keep people updated on the development of Star Wars Pocket Models (SWPM) for the online gaming engine, "VASSAL." SWPM started as a table top game that was produced by WizKidz, but since they went out of business, the community of players formed a player's alliance to keep things going.

As a channel of doing so, they created a governing body who oversees the production of player-made expansions to the game. Currently, I am serving as the Minister of Commerce. In others words, I take care of plugging all the information on unit stats and game cards into VASSAL. From there, we can play test the expansion, tweak it, and eventually release it both on VASSAL as well as physical game pieces.

As of now, I am working on getting one of the proposed expansions, "Duel of the Fates" (based on Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace). I have all stats and unit images loaded into VASSAL. I just need a little more info and the images for the game cards. As soon as that happenes, I will be realeasing a beta version of the SWPM module for playtesting.
